Role Description

As a data analyst you will be part of a team responsible for the development and delivery of big data platforms to optimize media spend and solve business problems. You will be managing, analysing, and organizing data in a variety of ways to provide actionable suggestions or solutions based on that data. Providing the team with direction and guidance in the specific data modelling, data dictionary and data quality of the different platforms being integrated into the Google Cloud ecosystem, primarily using BigQuery as the main data warehouse.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience working with data

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of programming languages SQL, R, MATLAB, and Python

  • Technical proficiency regarding database design, data models, techniques for datamining and segmentation

  • Experience within GCP is essential (BigQuery, BigQueryML, AutoML, Looker Studio andDataPrep/DataFlow)

  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks

  • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used fordata set analyzing

  • Demonstrable experience working with data from different API sources – Previousexperience utilising GMP data is preferred (GA4, DV360, CM, SA360, Ads Data Hub)

  • Experience working with low-code/no-code data pipeline software such as, Fivetran andData Fusion

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning

  • Understanding of statistical patterns such as Mean & Median, percentiles, standarddeviation, etc

  • Practical experience with customer segmentation, behaviour analysis and personalization systems

  • Strategic thinking and doing. Great written and verbal communication and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
